Vice President, Diversity, Inclusion and Corporate Giving, Express Scripts
Susan A. Stith is Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion and Corporate Giving at Express Scripts headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. In her role at Express Scripts, Ms. Stith skillfully shapes the company’s enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion strategy and guides the organization’s philanthropic and community outreach strategy and initiatives. Prior to her position at Express Scripts, Ms. Stith was director of Global Diversity and University Relations for Peabody Energy, where she was responsible for leading diversity and inclusion for leading diversity and inclusion initiatives across the company’s global platform. Her other roles at Peabody Energy included director of Talent Acquisition and manager of Employee Relations. Susan has held various sales, marketing, and management positions with organizations such as Macy’s Midwest, Procter and Gamble, Golden Books Publishing, and Chattem Consumer Products.
Ms. Stith is in charge of developing and leading Express Scripts’ Diversity Advisory Board, Diversity and Inclusion Council, and Employee Resource Groups. Susan is an active board member of the Starkloff Disability Institute, the Arts and Education Council, Lifelong Vision Foundation and Family Resource Center. In addition, she manages and guides the Express Scripts Foundation and is co-chair of the company’s enterprise-wide United Way campaign.
In 2013, Susan received the St. Louis Business Journal’s Diverse Leader Award and was recognized by a Diversity Plus magazine as one of the Top 25 Women In Power Impacting Diversity. She continues to promote not only diversity, but also inclusion within corporate culture.
Susan Stith holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Phoenix, where she later used her knowledge to teach as an adjunct professor in human resources and marketing. She also has experience in sales, marketing, and management with companies such as Macy’s Midwest, Procter & Gamble, Golden Books Publishing, and Chattem Consumer Products.
