Sanford S. Neuman is a Senior Partner, Wealth Planning at Polsinelli Schughart Pc. He was founding partner and Chair of the law firm, Gallop, Johnson & Neuman, L.C. Mr. Neuman, who concentrates his law practice in the areas of federal and state income tax, estate planning, and business transactions, has been a Director of LMI Aerospace, Inc. since 1984. Neuman has a long record of public service in St. Louis. He currently serves as a Board member of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute, The Jewish Federation of St. Louis, and on the National Council of the Washington University School of Law, where he was an adjunct professor in the law school’s graduate tax program. He is past President of The Jewish Federation of St. Louis, and has served on the Boards of the Jewish Community Relations Council, Jewish Center for Aged, Jewish Community Center, and Epstein Hebrew Academy.

In addition to receiving his B.A. from Washington University and his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, Neuman earned his masters of law degree in taxation (LL.M.) from New York University School of Law. He spent more than five years as a trial attorney with the Internal Revenue Service office of the Chief Counsel in Boston and Louisville before entering private practice. In 2003, he received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Washington University’s School of Law and has been listed each year since 1995 in The Best Lawyers in America.
