Originally, from Ohio, Donna earned her BS in Retailing from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She began her business career working for May Department Stores Co., St. Louis. She expanded her experience working for specialty stores at Edison Brother Stores, Inc., St. Louis, rising to the position of Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager of their 5-7-9 Stores division. The product development aspects of her career led her around the world, with frequent and extensive travel to Asian countries– Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Sri Lanka and India. She also frequented European cities– London, Paris, Florence and Amsterdam; and US cities—New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Donna shifted from career to community volunteer in 1999. Initially, she sat on the development board for Ranken-Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital, co-chairing their Rock’n with Ranken fund raising event. While on the board at Easter Seals Midwest, Donna co-chaired the Development committee and also co-chaired six fund raising events from 2008 through 2015. On behalf of Whitfield School, she served as Community Service and Class Parent Liaison for six years. Donna also co-chaired three event auctions, the Prom Committee and the Senior Class Graduation Dinner event. She has also served in a variety of roles with St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and Chesterfield Day School. Her commitment to the community is reflected in her volunteer work with Lifelong Vision Foundation, where she was Chairperson of the 2014 Eye Ball Gala and is repeating her role as the Co-Chair of the 2017 Eye Ball Gala.

Donna has been married to Kurt Hibler, Diba Imports, Earth City, since 1993. Donna and Kurt have one daughter, Aimee a student at Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas. They enjoy their three cats, an exotic-Persian, Gracee; and rescue cats Lulu and Cleocatra. In their free moments, Donna and Kurt love to travel. A few favorite destinations include California wine country, Colorado ski resorts and east-coast beaches.
